@pronav50@DavidBakhtiari@AdamSchefter OK. I'm not arguing, but isn't a wet, muddy grass field even more dangerous?
Again - I'm just trying to understand
@DavidBakhtiari@AdamSchefter I just have to ask you @DavidBakhtiari - I was nothing but a terrible high school football player and a middle school coach, but (honest question) what's so wrong with modern turf fields? They're a lot better than those horrible astroturf fields on top of concrete, aren't they?
@LoriNickel Boy do I understand that. I'm not doing it anymore, but I had lots of scary things happen driving down either Capitol or Hampton. I wish I had a solution.
So in no way do I believe in conspiracy theories, but why did all of my @googlechrome news bookmarks disappear? And as I'm rebuilding them, why won't Chrome let me save FoxNews??? Things that make you go Hmmm
@Tazz53188@DavidBakhtiari Fair enough. And my kids were kids. But the awful grass fields we played on were just as unforgiving. When we finally got a turf field I was much more worried about eye injuries from the rubber flying up. I guess I was wrong.
Saying that with all respect
@czabe Yeah, Czabe & Armen. I once got called for unsportsmanlike when I was coaching a youth football game. I knew the rules, but lost my cool. I pulled it together pretty quick, but I still regret that moment
So I can't stop thinking about this. When I was in Dallas a number of years ago, I tried to speak with some Muslim advocates. I honestly wanted to learn about their views.
They wouldn't talk to me, but when I tried to engage them i kept my hands behind my back.
Just want to thank the folks at my local @ATT store in Oconomowoc WI. Was there yesterday to deal with 2 different problems and was braced for a very long appt, but my guy (I wish I caught his name) dealt with everything quickly and like a pro. Thank you!
I certainly know it's just part of life, but losing my Mother-in-law a few weeks ago makes me miss my Mom even more (she passed away a few years ago).
Find friends, find support. My wife's family was incredible while we grieved.
