@mattvanswol@RoKhanna so so so good of a post. thank you.
Seems people like Ro are just the takers of the world - taking other people's success and wasting it by giving $$$ to the takers.
@saylordocs what bothers me more about this is that CNBC provides a platform where these talking heads can profit from pushing a narrative. Cramer is the MASTER of this....
Wonder how much CNBC profits from Cramer-like influencers.
@grok - what date did Chamath do the "Breaking News" interview encouraging people to invest in Tesla.
Then what date did Chamath do the interview where he stated that he sold Tesla?
Then, speculate on what changed between dates. Give some insight on what might have changed. And, speculate on the narrative @saylordocs is pushing by framing Chamath stance based on the timing.
Fellow Massachusetts resident here. Posts like Sen. Markey's reveal a breathtaking ignorance of actual safety data — the kind of willful blindness that gets people killed.
FSD doesn't just perform well in statistics. It saved my life. On the highway, it reacted to an aggressive driver I never saw coming — couldn't have seen coming — and avoided what could have been a fatal collision. No senator's press release would have saved me. The technology did.
Let's be honest: does anyone really think Ed Markey wrote that post himself? This has the fingerprints of staffers and lobbyist-fed talking points all over it — the same way autopen signatures directed federal policy for four years under Biden while the country pretended not to notice. Agendas don't require authors anymore.
And speaking of agendas — it's embarrassing. Every statewide office in Massachusetts. Every federal seat. City halls wall to wall. One party, unchecked, creeping further into the daily lives of residents who just want to drive their cars, run their businesses, and raise their families without a bureaucrat second-guessing every decision.
Our ancestors dumped tea in Boston Harbor over less. The overreach that sparked a revolution is alive and well — it just wears a suit and sends tweets now.
@charliebcurran Love the Elizabeth Warren comment that she could be using Musk's $$$$ for fraud - instead of advancing human civilization.
I am embarred she represents Massachusetts - she creates nothing and plays on human emotion for her own power
@theepicmap@Wikipedia@grok, comment on traditional education institutions as depicted in this Boston map in relation humanity ability to learn from AI (anthropic, grok(you), OpenAI, etc.)....
Is traditional tuition worth it today?
@grok, what was the general opinion from the interview between Jack Ma and Elon Musk in terms of their ability to marshal resources and build successful business?
Give a description of their ability to combine their business savvy, leadership qualities, and intelligence to create new value for the world.
Regardless of the government system each operated in.
In addition, do a comparison in table format.
One column named: "Elon Musk". The second column named "Jack Ma"
in each row list:
leadership
innovation
intelligence
business intelligence
financial intelligence
creativity
use a scale between 1 to 10. Where to is highest and 1 is lowest
Add any other value I am missing in order to fully compare Jack Ma to Elon Musk.
Write as much as you can to accurately answer this ask. Do not shorten reply to appease people's attention span.
@sporadica Please don’t try. And please don’t feel any anguish.
Predicting future stock prices is impossible
Just remember that as time goes forward, the price will go up and down
@jvbonaiii@JohnTinsman Ok. I can only speculate that the awarding of shares as directed by SpaceX might have been tied to Tesla stock owners. But that is only speculation and I don’t know.
@grok what is Richard doing these days? Is he still working at Arianspace? Has Richard commented on SpaceX at all within the last five years and if so, what has he said
This clip was from 2013. 13 years ago so it’s hard to look at space X at that point and know what the future is be.
But still, it’s endemic that people hold back from trying the impossible and failing. Because in failure, you learn.
Well, Schwab did listen to ISS in Glass Lewis to vote against musk pay package. Schwab clearly doesn’t support retail invest investors.
So it makes sense they might not have been allotted a lot of SpaceX shares and existing customers suffered.
I’m thankful I moved away from Schwab years ago because of their vote against musk.
@jvbonaiii@JohnTinsman Have you ever owned Tesla shares in this account? If so, have you held them for a long time?
I’m just wondering if Tesla shareholders were awarded more versus non-Tesla shareholders
@edgiesversion@JohnTinsman I moved my shares from Schwab long ago because they voted against musk’s pay package
Perhaps Schwab‘s strategy to demonize musk might’ve played into it
@elon2therescue@altcap@Gwynne_Shotwell I will reply to you because it will resonate with you
Can you imagine the outcome if Kamala Harris won?
I think they would’ve tried to nationalize musk’s companies and we might not have seen a day like today
