I made a DD on 7th Jan through net banking which was to be picked up physically from a new branch of Axis Bank in New Delhi. Later discovered that the branch doesn't exist but is live in online system with its own IFSC code. DD couldn't be issued. My money still held up.

I want to open a current account. I filled forms on multiple websites.
Didn’t get a single call back.

I emailed my HDFC relationship manager. She said I should go to the branch.

Went to branch. They said only a high minimum balance account is on offer. I said ok. They seemed thrilled. Said will need to come home to do formalities. I said sure.

Note here, that I was asked to visit the branch for a process which is supposed to happen at my home.

The chap asked me- what time. I said I have two slots, have meetings all day besides that. He chose one.

He turned up one hour late. I had a meeting in 20 minutes. The process couldn’t be completed. I said you can afford to be late, I can’t.

He promised to call next day first thing in the morning said today was an aberration. I said ok.

The call never came. I messaged in the evening. He said sorry I thought you must be busy. Can I come on Monday. I said no, and blocked him.

This would have gone towards their commission and was a premium product I was purchasing and yet.
