Inside high-security prisons, I see hope grow when I tell people that @cz_binance has made four separate $500,000 donations, written about his support in his book, #FreedomofMoney, and discussed his support in media interviews.

Support from CZ inspired Web3 innovators to launch https://t.co/UmXE3w3U1u. That community has contributed more than 1,040 $BNB. Those resources now approach $1 million, and we'll resource them to further our mission of providing free educational resources to people in prison.

Generosity from our sponsors reinforces a message I share in every prison presentation: When you invest in yourself, you give others a reason to invest in you.

Some people ask how much I personally make from these donations. My answer begins with the same three promises I make to every prison audience:

1. I will never lie to you.
2. I will never ask you to do anything I didn’t do.
3. I work without a salary or financial compensation.

To date, we have not spent even $1 of the donations generated from our sponsors @PrisonProf_BNB.

Our work helps people recognize that they can become their own Prison Professor—building a curriculum, developing skills, and documenting their preparation for a better life. Those efforts can help break intergenerational cycles of poverty and recidivism.

Today, 9,264 people participate in our programs. They have published more than 18.2 million words on our platform, creating a record of their learning, reflection, and preparation.

Tomorrow, I begin another series of presentations in high-security federal prisons. I hope more people will use our free resources to begin building their own pathways to success.

When I visit a high-security federal prison, my first goal is to earn trust.

During the first hour, I share what I learned while serving 26 years in prison and how the work I did inside helped me build a meaningful life after release. As people recognize that I understand the challenges they face, they become more willing to listen—and to consider what they can accomplish.

Then I introduce Prison Professors as a platform that supports their efforts. I encourage each person to become their own “Prison Professor”: take ownership of their education, use our free resources to build a curriculum around their goals, and document their progress. Every step can help them strengthen their candidacy for higher levels of liberty and prepare for success after prison.

In the final hour, we move into questions, answers, and role playing. Participants practice communicating their goals, explaining their progress, and showing how they can contribute to society.

Through that process, I want people to see possibilities for their future. By investing in themselves today, they can prepare to recognize, create, and make the most of opportunities ahead.

With more than 9,200 people participating in our program, our mission extends beyond any single presentation. We help people build pathways to success that can strengthen families and end intergenerational cycles of recidivism and poverty.

Big news! My dad is officially a proud holder of our @PrisonProf_BNB token.

He’s in town from LA and it’s so enjoyable walking him through progress I’m making personally and professionally. A little known fact is my dad owns a business in Los Angeles and the majority of people he’s always hired are formally incarcerated.

@MichaelGSantos met my dad in prison (and many times since). To say he felt out of place seeing me there is an understatement. For a while my dad blamed himself, something I also do as a parent.

Michael used to get to visits before me, around 8:45am. I’d get down around 11am, after count cleared.

Before I got into visitation, Michael would often walk over (he did this with my mom, too) and say, “your son is doing great. He’s preparing to go home. He’s making use of this time. Soon he will be home with you.”

It always helped.

When I see my dad he says two things, in this order: “Dodgers look solid. How’s Michael? Your mom and I still talk about how fortunate you were to meet him. What a blessing.”

They have no idea!
