@PartyChambers@SpammyFritter I agree that he went through a short period where he made comments about political disillusionment but this was more anti establishment than right wing. He certainly wasn't a Thatcher fan. He wrote about working class struggles which apparently he cant now do due to his success
@supertanskiii@zarahussain999@NickDelaney9 This is so symbolic of the country we live in. Bloke fighting without really understanding what he's doing and his mate standing by filming it telling the poor people being assaulted to calm down. Let's hope his role is helping to get his mate nicked.
@SpammyFritter Calling him a champagne socialist because he became successful doesn't change the fact that his principles have remained consistent for 40 years. It's hypocritical to love the politics when it suits your struggles but throw a tantrum the moment he stands up for someone else's.
@SpammyFritter Sounds like you were only happy to hear him sing about social injustice when you felt those injustices applied to you. The Jam’s entire catalog is built on left-wing politics - Weller didn't suddenly change, he is exactly who he has always been.
@giltbrookpie It’s not real world though is it. He’s at the end of his career, wants to play as long as he can. His team have turned their backs and he’s got himself another job close to where he lives. Cruyff signed for Feyenoord and he’s still an Ajax legend 🤣
@sleafordmods Absolute shite. Too many games so they can maximise revenue, dynamic pricing so they can charge as much as they can, £18 for a can of coors at games, hotel prices at $500 dollars a night. Not a tournament for the people. All for the profit
Good to see Ant Middlton campaigning for Rob Kenyon in Makerfield. Who better to help push the message that Reform is on the side of local businesses than someone who lives in Dubai and is banned as a company director for dodging £1m in tax?
@JeremyVineOn5@Kunlebarker@nelufar@theJeremyVine Nothing will happen. Just as the ticket and hotel prices are ridiculous. It is now a game for companies to profit from not for the public to enjoy
