The Hockey Hall of Fame passing over an incredible number of overly qualified women AGAIN for induction shows how biased and deeply unknowledgeable the group is when it comes to women's hockey.
One player, no other women on or off the ice is sad.
First & foremost, congratulations to Cindy Curley.
But it's incredibly disappointing to see the Hockey Hall of Fame neglect to use both of its allotted spots for female inductees this year.
There are so many deserving candidates & it takes absolutely nothing away from the men.
Frustrating that only 1/2 of the women’s spots were filled. The voting system plays a big role in that but the number of worthy players eligible is only growing.
Very narrow minded of her. The league is still so small that we’re at the point where specific players are the big draw. Team loyalty will grow with time. That being said I’m already 100% San Jose!

Opinion: The PWHL's expansion process was always going to sting, but it was made worse by an ill-advised comment dismissing the league's fan base by a PWHL executive vice president this week.

A woman dies every two hours of cervical cancer in the US -- and these deaths are utterly unnecessary. HPV vaccines prevent it, and screenings catch it early when it's treatable. But we're dismantling federal support for reproductive health care programs like Title X.
Connor Hellebuyck for the number two pick and Yaroslav Askarov.
The Sharks immediately get one of the best goalies in the league still in his prime and the Jets get a key piece to add to their top six... And take a gamble on a former first-round goaltender.
If you told the Sharks ahead of the draft lottery that they'd be able to use this year's pick to acquire Hellebuyck... I'm sure they'd be very happy.
Thoughts?
Laila Edwards goes No. 4 to San Jose.
The most unique player in hockey. Worlds MVP as a forward. Top-pairing defender on an Olympic gold medal team. At 6-foot-1 she'll be the tallest skater in the league's history.
The 2026 PWHL Draft is about to add 72 players to the league's talent-pool, but only 12 of those players will get to call themselves first round picks. Here's a look at who could be selected with the first 12 picks of the PWHL Draft.

Look, she's amazing, but wtf is happening? Frankel over Desbiens? Sparre over both Cheverie AND Macleod? Curl-Salemme on the 2nd all-star team. Really capping of a VERY disappointing week as a huge day 1 fan of @thepwhlofficial. You're gonna scare off all the new fans now!
