Love to learn about plants, gardening & pollinators.🐝 On a spiritual & philosophical journey in life. Book lover. Picking up litter everywhere I go. 🇺🇸
I wrote this the other day because I feel exactly like the man in this video. I first named it “Solitude”, but might change it to “Nature’s Silence”. Not sure yet.
Loneliness does not exist,
Neither does a dark abyss.
Peace fills the heart and soul,
The Source will always keep it full.
In nature this is felt the most,
God’s design from coast to coast.
Majestic mountains steal our wind,
As prairies reveal the Source within.
Our soul is connected to all that’s around,
Invisibly tethered ~ no web to be found.
And yet it exists, although can’t be seen,
In silence it’s felt and there’s no denying. 💚
I sure did! Thanks for asking. I just wish we could have had more time to spend out there, but we will definitely be going again soon. Annabel had loads of fun…hiking almost 25 miles in a couple days was just what her & I needed. 💚
I still need to go through most of my pictures and see if I got anything else worth sharing.
My little tomato plants were getting eaten up on the bottom leaves from something, so I decided to replant them in containers with organic perlite & soil, and I cut off the damaged branches. The damaged areas I cut are now buried in the dirt, so hopefully they will just root as normal in those spots. 🤞
We have had so much rain & it sure seems like there’s more insects out…well, except my bumblebees. 🐝😕
The more annoying insects definitely seem to thrive more in the wet weather.
Still have a few more plants to repot & then I will figure out a good spot for them. 👩🌾🍅
@IrishCodex Idk your account, but this post popped up and the “innuendos go right over her beard” comment got me. 😆
On a serious note, your mum must be amazing to be a cross between those two hilarious women. Two of the best ever. ❤️
I’ve never even heard of that vaccine before, but my vet doesn’t push vaccines & I have never taken my dog to a groomer. (She would never go for that, she’s a big baby).
Anyways, that’s very scary. I’m so sorry that this happened to your dog. I pray that he fully recovers and has no further issues.
So, when I came back from camping, I was checking things and there’s a mushroom growing in the hole where the little baby squirrels were living. 😕
I didn’t see them for about two days before I left, so I am assuming that they moved somewhere else.
Pretty wild though. I don’t remember any mushrooms there last year, but obviously there’s mycelium somewhere in there.
Annabel and I hiked another five miles, saw some cool mushrooms and we went down to the lake because I was thinking about watching the sunset, but I decided to come back and get a campfire going soon. I’m hoping that the sky stays pretty clear.
I want to see some stars tonight. ✨
