Makerere University has come under scrutiny after the Auditor General, Edward Akol discovered that over 400 Masters’ students failed to complete their studies on time with evidence indicating that averagely, students took more than four academic years to complete research for the master’s program which is beyond the recommended university accredited duration of 2 years for master’s programmes.
