@SkyNews I feel so sorry for people having to survive on only £45k a year. I can't imagine how that feels. I mean us people on benefits barely getting £12k a year are absolutely living it up!! Aren't we so lucky!!
HISA ELECTIONS are here again. I have had two amazing years as President at UHI Inverness, so now I am running for REGIONAL President. Let me start this campaign by wishing ALL candidates the best of luck. Let's make these elections amazing!!!
@StagecoachHLand Don't advise buying a weekly ticket for students as the buses they require don't turn up or are cancelled without warning. The taxi bill is racking up.
@StagecoachHLand Biggest issue with this is that buses fail to show up. Cancelled without letting the public know in a timely manner. This is not a public service it is a shambles. People left stranded with no transport home in these vile weather conditions.
@ruth4_prez and I had the opportunity to meet up with @Emma_Roddick MSP last Friday to chat about curriculum review, mergers and what it’s like studying during COVID-19! Thanks so much for your time! #TeamHISA#ThinkUHI@TeamHISA
1/2 | AND THAT’S A WRAP!! ⚡️
Our 21/22 officer team have officially completed #HISAExec21, having engaged with various sessions, workshops + talks all designed to benefit their understanding of student representation across #ThinkUHI and ensure that they can best support YOU ✊
@Emma_Seith@scotgov This year, students didn't sit exams, they had 'assessments'. Which in truth were exams. Is this a similar story where they just re-name the SQA but it will be ran in the same way by the same people? It doesn't matter what colour it is painted if the picture doesn't change!!!
@sqasupport This is the information that should have came out at the beginning of the academic year, instead SQA have changed their guidance several times, they have made the guidance extremely vague, not just for students but also for lecturers, and this is seriously detrimental to students
@sqasupport as students were told at the beginning of this academic year that there would be NO Nat 5 or Higher exams at the end of this year, why have you now backtracked and why are students now being told it is mandatory to be on campus to sit what is still EXAMS?
