@Charlie40074981 @DrJMarine Thanks… our hospital has a lot of ICU and step down beds and it wasn’t enough of patients who needed for very sick pts. Maybe it being a public hospital made the situation worse

@DrJMarine Trying to understand the truth.I retired in but heard/saw evidence that my hospital was overwhelmed the next winter. PAR and med surg units were turned into monitored units, RNs who hadn’t cared for pts in years were pulled into pt care etc
