Thought it was really important that the junior doctors have their say. Covered the night shift for them. £4.5k tax bill feels like a particularly evil game of monopoly though.

@Cooper00Nicola I know them. I once had an audition for a choir (in the US) where you weren't allowed to say which part you sang - they placed you according to your vocal range. I had to sing God Save the Queen 6 times in different keys for them to work it out - I mixed up the verses...
On my way to night shift yesterday, telephone call from @labour party asking me to canvass for the last week pre-election. Had to point out that I'm covering nights for #JuniorDoctorsStrikes & so this needs to be sorted before I can do anything for the Labour party!
@Cooper00Nicola I once worked for a consultant who was about to perform a PR on a patient. I was mortified that this was a job that any one of the team could do, but he explained that he often did himself this to demonstrate how important the examination is. It is lesson I have tried to learn...
