Rutherford fire is an All Volunteer Fire Company located in suburban Harrisburg, PA. The company serves the residents of Rutherford Heights and Swatara Twp.

An employee with H&S Towing and member of the Halifax Fire Dept was struck and killed last night along I-78.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to H&S Towing, the family & friends and the Halifax Fire Dept. for their loss.
**WORKING FIRE**
This morning before 4am, Engine 91-5 was dispatched to Hummelstown for a possible house fire. Chief 46-2 arrived to find a working fire and struck 1st alarm. The engine picked up a hydrant and the rescue arrived shortly after to assist.

**Small Kitchen Fire**
Around 14:00 hrs crews were dispatched to Stephen Dr for a reported fire. Engine 91-5 arrived with there own water and stretched one line to find a small kitchen fire. Crews checked for extension & vented the structure.

Just prior to 13:00 hours. Engine 91-5 and Engine 91-2 were dispatched for a reported car fire. Engine 91-5 with 5 arrived to find a fully involved SUV. Crews pulled the bumper line and extinguished the fire.

**WORKING FIRE**
Last night just before 23:00 hrs crews were sent to the 5000 block of Canyon Road for a reported house fire. Engine 91-5 with 4 and rescue 91-5 with 2 arrived and went to work assisting with fire attack and extensive overhaul.
The Annual Rutherford Easter Egg Hunt is being postponed. We will be figuring out a date for a Spring Egg Hunt. We will keep you posted..
