๐จ๐ณ THE KHAKAS PEOPLE OF CHINA
๐ Fuyu County, Heilongjiang Province, China
Along China's northern border with Russia lives a small, nearly forgotten minority people group known as the Khakas. With only about 1,000 living in China, their ancient language is disappearing, their traditional culture is fading, and the Gospel remains largely unknown among them.
๐ด Population: Approximately 1,000 in China, with nearly 100,000 more living in Russia.
๐ด Language: Their native Khakas language is nearly extinct among China's Khakas. Most now speak Mandarin Chinese or Russian.
๐ด Culture: Generations of Chinese influence have largely replaced their traditional customs and way of life.
๐ด Spiritual Need: Most identify as atheists, and there are no known Christians among this small minority group in China.
A disappearing language. A fading culture. A people still needing the Gospel!
Pray that the Khakas people will hear the Good News of Jesus Christ before another generation passes without knowing Him.
They told my 19-year-old son to go home and die. I told them no.
He was diagnosed last year with Stage 4 Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma. If you don't know what that is, be grateful. It's a monster.
He is 19. He has his whole life ahead of him. But right now, heโs been in a hospital bed for 17 straight days. The doctors are standing in the hallway trying to hand me hospice paperwork. They say there is nothing more they can do. They say he doesn't qualify for clinical trials because his platelet counts are too low.
So the systemโs answer is to give up.
I will never give up.
He has been on the Joe Tippens protocol for over a year. I have him on every supplement, every tea, every diet change I can find. I have spent every waking hour reading, researching, and fighting. I am not a doctor, but I am his mother. And a motherโs research never stops.
He is far too young, and he has so much to give this world.
I am writing this because I need help.
If you have been through this if you have fought aggressive cancers, if you have dealt with low platelets blocking treatment, if you know of doctors who think outside the box please tell me.
What did you do when they told you there was nothing left? What else should I be looking at?
We are sitting in this hospital room, and I am refusing to sign the papers. I am asking for a miracle, but I am also asking for information. I will not let him go without a fight.
Please keep my sweet boy in your prayers. And if you have any advice, please share it below.
โ ๏ธ I am sharing our story to ask for help, not medical advice. We are working with his medical team, but I am looking for any additional avenues. Please keep us in your thoughts.
THE KERIYA PEOPLE โ FEWER THAN 100 FAMILIES, NO KNOWN CHRISTIANS!
Deep in the remote desert regions of northwestern China lives one of the smallest and most isolated people groups in the country. The Keriya, a subgroup of the Uyghur people, have preserved their traditional way of life for generations. Yet among these few families, there are no known Christians to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
โ LOCATION: Yutian County, Xinjiang Province, northwestern China.
โ POPULATION: Fewer than 100 families remain in this small minority community.
โ CULTURE: The Keriya are semi-nomadic shepherds, raising sheep and goats. They once spoke their own language but now speak Uyghur.
โ RELIGION: Devout Sunni Muslims, with no known Christians among them.
WHO WILL REACH THE KERIYA WITH THE GOSPEL?
Though their numbers are small and their villages remote, every Keriya soul is precious to God. Pray that the Lord will open doors for His Word to reach these families and that one day there will be believers among the Keriya people!
@flightradar24 So, figured out the helicopter had been assisting in a search for a missing 3-yr-old (found safe) just up the road and must've been heading back to base when it flew over us. Thanks for the assist!!
@flightradar24 Is there a way to find out about flight traffic over a house? We had what sounded like a military helicopter fly really low over our house late last night.
@flightradar24 Maybe because I'm not using the app, just internet, I'm not getting that. We use degoogled phones, so we don't download from the play store. Thanks for your help.
PRAY FOR THE KEJI PEOPLE โ TIBET, CHINA
For more than 300 years, the Keji people have lived in the shadow of the Himalayan Mountains, yet today there are no known Christians among them! More than 2,000 Keji are scattered across Tibet, with the largest community living in the ancient city of Lhasa. Their ancestors arrived from India in the 1700s as traders, bringing Islamic traditions that continue today.
๐ท LOCATION: Lhasa, Tibet, China, high in the Himalayan region.
๐ท CULTURE: The Keji speak Tibetan and maintain their distinct traditions. They are not officially recognized as a separate minority group by the Chinese government.
๐ท RELIGION: The Keji are devout Sunni Muslims, with Islamic beliefs deeply rooted in their daily lives.
๐ท CHRISTIANITY: There are no known Christians among the Keji people.
More than 2,000 precious souls with no known Christian witness! Pray that God will open doors for the Gospel and that the Keji people will have an opportunity to hear of salvation through Jesus Christ.
๐จ๐ณ Pray For THE KAZAK PEOPLE OF CHINA โ Skilled Horsemen, But Few Know Christ!
Across the vast grasslands and rugged mountains of northern Xinjiang Province, China, live approximately 1.8 million Kazak people. Another 10 million are scattered throughout Central Asia and Russia. Known for their remarkable horsemanship and nomadic traditions, the Kazak have preserved their unique culture for generations.
๐ด LOCATION: Northern Xinjiang Province in northwest China, near the borders of Kazakhstan, Russia, and Mongolia.
๐ด CULTURE: Famous for their skilled horsemen, livestock herding, and traditional nomadic lifestyle. They speak two main dialects and use an Arabic-based writing system.
๐ด RELIGION: The Kazak are predominantly Muslim, with Islamic traditions deeply rooted in their families and communities.
๐ด GOSPEL NEED: Among approximately 1.8 million Kazak in China, only a small handful of Christians are known. Countless families have little opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
๐ PRAY FOR THE KAZAK PEOPLE! Pray that God will open doors for His Word to reach these remote communities, raise up faithful witnesses, and bring the light of the Gospel to the Kazak people of northwest China.
๐จ๐ณ THE KAWA PEOPLE โ ISOLATED IN THE MOUNTAINS OF CHINA
High in the mountains of southern China, more than 5,000 feet above sea level, nearly 90,000 Kawa people live in remote villages where the Gospel remains largely unknown.
๐ Location: Ximeng County, Yunnan Province, China, near the Myanmar border.
๐ด Remote Villages: The Kawa are scattered across more than 100 isolated mountain villages, many difficult to reach.
๐ด Culture: The Kawa maintain their distinctive non-tonal dialect and traditional way of life. Most families depend on farming rice and corn for survival.
๐ด Spiritual Need: Among nearly 90,000 Kawa people, there are no known Christians. Entire villages may have never heard a clear presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
More than 100 villages. Nearly 90,000 souls. No known Christians. The mountains may separate the Kawa from much of the world, but they are not beyond the reach of God's Word!
๐ Pray that the Gospel will reach the Kawa people of southern China!
