1973 - 2023

Deeper Life At 50!

° 1973 - Bro William Kumuyi starts a Bible Study Group (now Deeper Life Bible Church) in his flat, as a Lecturer at the University of Lagos with 15 members.

° 1977 - Life Press Linited is Incorporated.

° 1981 - Hosts a Retreat with 45,000 participants in attendance.

° 1983 - Metamorphoses into a full fledged church with Sunday Services held.

° 1985- Hosts the _Great Miracle Crusade_ at the Main Bowl of the National stadium. One of the breakthrough points in the Ministry.

° 1988- The Deeper Life Bible
Church had grown to
over 120,000 membership becoming one of the largest Christian denominations in the world.

° 1992 - The Christian Women Mirror, was
established by Sis Abiodun
Kumuyi and is reputed to be one of the most widely
read publications for building godly homes.

° 1996 - Deeper Life has held some of the most successful
gospel outreaches in the history of Nigeria, including
Power as of Old, Jesus ‘96.

° 2001 - Hosts SAY2001 a 6-day Conference for Youths at the National Stadium, Lagos. One of the largest physical gathering of Christian youths for an event.

° 2003 - Pioneered the use of Satellite Broadcast technology to locations across the world in real-time using Satellite Broadcast technology.

° 2005 - Launches the Africa-wide Crusade Series

° 2009 - Passing to glory of Sis Biodun Kumuyi - the Global Head of the Women Ministry and wife of the General Superintendent.

° 2010 - Pastor W. F. Kumuyi remarries to Sis. Esther Kumuyi who is the new Head of the Global Women Ministry.

° 2015 - hosts a 3-week marathon Gospel
Crusade across the Local Government Areas of Lagos
State, Nigeria.

° 2016 - establishes the Anchor University, Ayobo, Lagos to provide quality academic and character excellence.

° 2018 - Commissions the newly built ultra modern International Headquarters of the DLBC.

° 2018, The Billy Graham Evangelistic
Association honoured Pastor W. F. Kumuyi for
his exceptional contribution to the furtherance of
the gospel at a ceremony held at the Deeper Life
Headquarters, Lagos.

° 2020 - Partnered with the Bibe Society of Nigeria, BSN, to publish a special Yoruba Bible with full concordance in Yoruba Language.

° 2021 - The Deeper Life Launches the Global Crusade Series that is broadcasted to over 170 countries simultaneously every month.

° 2021 - Publishes the widely read first official biography of Dr William Kumuyi.

° 2022 - Launches the Impact Academy for Youth Summit Series.

° 2023 - Publishes the Deeper Life Study Bible.

° 2023 - Celebrates the Golden Jubilee Year of 50!
