@BirdandBlendTea Hi! Just wanted to let you know my monthly tea subscription arrived twice this morning! I only seem to have been charged once, but figured I'd let you know in case there's something wrong in your system somewhere π
Dear @sainsburys - why, in a clearly fully vegan grocery order, would you substitute items with things that are not vegan? It makes no sense π’
Now to decide if I am invested enough in Veganuary to send back something I am only not eating temporarily π
@EnglishHeritage hello! How do I cancel my membership auto renewal? Unfortunately I've moved to an area of the UK without many EH properties so it is no longer worthwhile, but I can't see how to do this on your website.
Go and work in Canada for 6 months, they said. It will be fun, they said.
What they did not say: 2 years later you will still be receiving income tax demands from the CRA, which will not be fun.
@RingGo_parking hello! Your app thinks my car is an HGV and so won't let me park it in multiple places. If I try to update it, or re-add it then it defaults back to HGV every time
@gierrofo@TheeRFS@fesshole On the other end if it's cheap stuff and you're not using much at a time you can probably go a year on less than Β£50 - the potential range on this is wild!
@gierrofo@TheeRFS@fesshole It is possible tbf. Plenty of brands cost Β£8-Β£10 a bottle. Double that with conditioner as well. If you have a lot of hair and wash it every day you can probably get through that in around 3 weeks.
Top end of the scale for sure, and not the average person, but not unfeasible.
@HMRCcustomers hello! I have a letter saying I owe you more tax and need to contact you if this is incorrect - it is incorrect. There is no information either in the letter or online on *how* I contact you about this. Can you please provide a phone number?
@JLHGameArt That's the thing - a lot of people are in games because they love the work, more than for the security or the money.
But on the negative side I think some companies can then rely on that emotional investment to get away with things like crunch, or not looking after people well.
