This morning’s rain froze in places, causing deterioration in road conditions.
🚨 N22 Macroom Bypass Closed in both directions due to RTC.
✅ All Priority 1 & 2 routes were treated last night & early this morning as planned.
⚠️ Rainfall reduced effectiveness of treatments; icy patches can form even on treated roads.
Never assume a road is safe – drive with extreme caution!
