@MoneySavingExp Yes - noticed it lots returning stuff post Christmas. Ended up trotting round lots of shops to return instead - but some shops won’t accept the return if you used PayPal - you need to return by post. Very frustrating - will def check return policy’s in future

@volewriter @marksandspencer We also use shopping as an opportunity to discuss as loudly as possible all the sexist and misogynistic messages … makes the kids aware of how rediculous it is and encourages them to pick what they like regardless of where it’s placed

@volewriter @marksandspencer All excellent observations on this. Equally annoying is the quality of the clothes - boys tend to be softer, thicker and generally more robust for all that “boy” play. Girls tend to be flimsy and way less cosy. My kids constantly putting the knee through their “girls” trousers

We all have our faves and my youngest is learning to cook from it now. we often pretend we’re making a cooking show Nigella style
