My cousin was has four boys and she’s going through it. She said one night she heard noise in her kitchen, she woke up to go and find out what was going on, and she met her 13 year old there. She asked him what he was doing and he said “I want to boil yam”. The time was 1am.🤣🤣
Relationships are now more difficult than ever. Everyone is being wary and careful of the other person. Men don't trust ladies and ladies don't trust men. Everyone is on the edge, suspicious of the words and actions of other person. Distrust everywhere.
Voluntary unions are now built on falsehood and distrust. No one wants to be the fool. No one wants to be the "mugu". Everyone wants to be the smart one.
The winner of this unfortunate battlefield is he who has the least emotions and who cares less. It is more sad when one realises that these are two species that are meant to work together in a physical and spiritual upbuilding but this is where we are today.
More sad is that, it will get worse as time passes because even these wrong values are being passed on to the younger generation who cling to it more firmly and build on it. Building on the wrong values with so much energy and talent, directed in the wrong direction. And when one seeks to find the root cause of this pain and scar we all bear, we end up going round in circles and plunging ourselves into the very entities that birthed these false attitudes. A vicious cycle.
We are like a legion of lost souls in a dark enclosed tunnel, getting in eachother's way just to find a way out but without a genuine desire to change from within.
Major life milestones for men.
When:
1) he lands a good & sustainable career.
2) he finds his wife.
3) he becomes a father
4) he finds fulfilment in impacting lives positively
5) his children start becoming successful.
6) he becomes a grandfather.
I've done 1-4.
God 🙏.
But who even sold it to Nigerian Men that “The more you spend, the higher your chances of getting loyalty” ?
or the lower her chances of cheating ?
Lmao.. This orientation has to d!e immediately for real
Ask your Guys that are sleeping with people’s babes… It’s usually the ones that their BF got the phone they’re using for them.. It’s usually the ones that their Man is funding their existence
If you truly feel it’s “Money” that’s sustaining her LOVE for you, does that not mean any nearest Huncho or Pablo can end your relationship in 1 Night ?
Like.. Are you people daft in your lineage that you can’t process this simple thing in your head ??
If she doesn’t desire you genuinely, she doesn’t.
"Baby, sub for me"
"I Like this shoe"
"I'm not in a good mood"
"I'm craving pizza"
"My phone screen is bad"
"I want to make my hair"
This is what a typical Nigerian man goes through during talking stage.
I decree, the Egyptians you see today, you shall see them no more!
Come abroad and see original fine girls hustling it out in Walmarts, Starbucks, Depots because they do not despise the place of responsibility - fine girls with correct follow come edges.
The crusty ones back home infested with halitosis think they deserve Dubai trips just because they can adjust filters on the pictures they took at ICM.
Say na "if a man wanted to, he would".
Don't go and work, omo eru.
There is a mistake Nigerian men make in love and relationship. You want to do everything, put in all the work, so all the spending and just allow your woman cruise through - providing only shared intimacy. The problem with that is, you think such love compels loyalty and commitment. But you're wrong.
The heart is not gender specific. It is the same. To tell where a person's heart is, look at where they channel their resources and effort. Even Jesus said, where your treasure is, that is where your heart is.
People are more likely to fight for a relationship where they are invested in, than one where the man does everything. If you do everything, there is really nothing tying her to the relationship unless she is just there for your money. In situations where she loves someone else, she will take money from you and invest in the relationship with whom she loves.
When someone loves you, they see their resources as family resource not personal. They are happy to give to you and looking forward to doing so. They are happy to talk to you and be in your presence and look forward to doing so. Their body, they money, their time, their heart prioritizes you and they are happy to invest it in the relationship.
You can't negotiate genuine desire by throwing money at women. When someone loves you, you'll know. You won't second guess it. Giving her the world and getting shoe and cake on your birthday 'because you deserve' it, is not love. Love gives at first instance not as reciprocity for endless stream of love. You'll keep doing the most for one day of gift. Love is not earned, love is given. Someone that loves you gives you because you are their man and they love you and it makes them happy to do so.
When someone is invested in making the relationship work, putting you in every plan, speaking all the love languages to you - by giving not expecting, that is love. People who day they can't do wife duties (whatever that means) for someone theybare dating does not love them. There is no fuss in giving your best to the person you're committed to. "I will not do this, I will not do that" is common sense expression of a lack of love. Nigerian men must have atrophied brain not to know this.
One thing I've realized is that many women do not love the men they are dating snd many men are okay with not being loved. By their actions, you can tell. That is why you keep hearing "if he deserves it" and this is in respect of someone they are in fact dating. Shameless! It is worse that the men are okay with it.
In the end, we accept the love we think we deserve.
If you are a Creative, make thinking and deep reflection a part of your daily routine. Anchor this on the meditation of THE WORD. Take walks, listen, loop and soak in calm and anointed Christian tunes. Make praying in the spirit a habit. Gaze at the beauty of nature, occasionally escape to green areas. Laugh some more. Stay Joyful. Be at peace. And unlock your creative stream. 🙂
It's weird to me, to see a side chick advising a main chick on how to keep her man.
One of the rare cases where we see women supporting women.
Or is it?
End.
