Hi Crime Watch Zim. Please hide my ID. There is a roadblock that is always on Remembrance Road near ZBC, Mbare. It's supposedly Mbare Traffic. Can authorities check what is really happening there?
I was stopped earlier today at what I thought was a routine vehicle check. I had no passengers. A female officer introduced herself and said they were checking for compliance and safety items.
I showed my spare wheel, jack, triangles and fire extinguisher. Everything was in order. She then said, “We can't just leave you to go without you giving us something."
I asked if she had found anything wrong and she said no, just give us $5 if you want to pass. I said I can't do that.
She then said she is now writing a $15 ticket because my windscreen is dirty and the offence she wrote was for “Failure to maintain windscreen.” I have a ticket the name of the lady officer who threatened to impound my car if I didn't have the $15 with me. Because I was behind time I had to pay.
Can the authorities please check this roadblock? If we are compliant, why are we being forced to pay? This is becoming too much for motorists on that road.
Thank you!
@PoliceZimbabwe
Before you leave your house this morning, hear this:
You are covered by the blood of Jesus.
No evil will overtake you. No disaster will come near your dwelling. The Lord will command His angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways.
I declare that you will not walk into an accident. You will not walk into a trap. You will not meet death prematurely.
Every plan of the enemy against you today is cancelled in Jesus' name.
May God order your steps. May He lead you away from danger and into divine appointments.
May you find favour everywhere you go. May doors open for you. May you receive good news. May someone remember you for good.
Whatever you put your hands to today, may the Lord establish it.
And when you leave your house, the presence of God goes with you.
You will go out in peace and return in peace.
You shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.
In Jesus' mighty name, AMEN! 🙏🏽🔥
Hi Crime Watch. Please hide my ID. I want to share my experience with ZIMSEC because I strongly believe this is an issue that needs to be addressed, especially for Zimbabwean students applying to schools outside the country.
I applied to a university here in the United States, and the admissions office required ZIMSEC to send official verification of my O’Level and A’Level results directly to the school.
I went through the ZIMSEC website and paid $160 for the verification service. Because I am currently in the U.S., I had to send my mother to the ZIMSEC offices in Mutare to make the payment on my behalf. We were told that the verification would be sent within 5–10 days. Ten days passed. Nothing. We called ZIMSEC to follow up and were told that the person responsible for signing off on the verification had traveled and that they could not tell us when that person would return. Weeks went by.
We continued calling and were repeatedly transferred from one office to another. On some occasions, we were left on hold for more than 15 minutes.
After 47 DAYS, ZIMSEC finally confirmed that the verification had been sent. But by then, it was too late. The fall semester had already started, and I lost my opportunity to start school this year. I now have to wait until the next intake in 2027.
I honestly find this level of delay and lack of communication extremely disappointing and unacceptable, especially considering the $160 fee that was paid for this service.
I know I am not the only student going through this process. There are several other students experiencing similar delays. I believe that if this issue is brought to the attention of the right people and more people speak up about it, something can be done to improve the process.
ZIMSEC needs to do better. Students’ academic and career opportunities are being affected by these unnecessary delays.
I hope you will be able to help me with this matter.

Many people read Psalm 91… but not many know how to pray with it.
Psalm 91 is not just a chapter to comfort you—it is a weapon to cover you.
The secret is this: don’t just read it… turn it into prayer.
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High…”
No. Make it personal:
“I dwell in the secret place of the Most High. I abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
When you pray like this, you are not quoting scripture—you are stepping into it.
“God is my refuge and my fortress…”
Pray it:
“Lord, You are my refuge. I trust You. Hide me. Cover me. Fight for me.”
Take it line by line. Slowly. Intentionally.
Let every verse become your conversation with God.
And when you get to the declarations—don’t be quiet.
“A thousand may fall at my side…”
This is not a whisper. This is authority.
“Even if thousands fall around me, it will not come near me!”
That is how prayer shifts from desperation to dominion.
Psalm 91 is also a weapon in spiritual warfare.
When fear comes…
When attacks rise…
When your night feels heavy…
Declare:
“No evil shall befall me. No plague shall come near my dwelling.”
You are not trying to convince God—you are enforcing what He already said.
And this is important:
Consistency matters.
Pray it in the morning.
Pray it at midnight.
Pray it until your spirit believes what your mouth is saying.
Because the power is not in repetition…
The power is in revelation and faith.
Psalm 91 is a covenant of protection.
When you truly pray it, you stop living like a victim.
You begin to walk in confidence, authority, and divine covering.
Don’t just read it today.
Pray it. Declare it. Become it.

PRAYER (From Psalm 91)
Heavenly Father,
I choose to dwell in Your secret place. I abide under Your shadow.
You are my refuge and my fortress,
My God, in You I trust.
Deliver me from every hidden trap, every plan of the enemy, and every form of sickness.
Cover me with Your presence. Let me find safety under Your wings.
Let Your truth be my shield and protection.
I declare: I will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrows that fly by day.
Even if a thousand fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand, it will not come near me.
No evil shall befall me. No plague shall come near my dwelling.
Command Your angels to guard me in all my ways. Let them lift me up and preserve me.
I overcome every work of darkness. I walk in victory.
Because I love You, deliver me, O Lord.
Answer me when I call. Be with me in trouble.
Satisfy me with long life and show me Your salvation.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
@TrevorNcube Had a similar experience growing up. Always compared to my other sibling who was light in completion. Some would say this one is the ulgly one, others would say she looks like the father. It traumatized me to this day. Others say how come your children are so beautiful
I am sitting in the corridors of Parirenyatwa Hospital, consoling Tete va Patrick. We have just lost another child to Fanconi Anaemia.
Patrick is gone.
We buried Wayne just a few weeks ago a gallant fighter who fought bravely until the end. Beside me are Mai Tawanda and Mai Vanessa. Like me, they are mothers of children living with Fanconi Anaemia. We know this pain. We know the fear. We know what it means to sit beside your child, watching their blood counts fall and wondering whether they will make it through the night.
And then Mai Tawanda asked the question that shattered me:
“WHO IS NEXT?”
Who is next?
I don't know.
And that is what frightens me the most.
Six children with Fanconi Anaemia currently need lifesaving bone marrow transplants that cost $50 000 for each child. Six children whose only real chance at a future is a transplant that is simply beyond the financial reach of their families. But right now, we are fighting an even more immediate battle: Keeping them alive long enough to get there. These children need blood. They need platelets. The National Blood Services of Zimbabwe has blood, and we are grateful for that. But in the past week, our children have had to purchase blood, and the cost has become unbearable. One pint of blood is costing US$240 and a pint of platelets is $240. For these families, that is not just expensive. It is impossible. And when these children cannot access the blood they need, they bleed. From their mouths. In their urine. In their stools. They vomit blood.
Imagine watching your child bleed and knowing that what could keep them alive is simply beyond your means. Vanessa is fighting for her life right now. She needs two pints of blood and one pack of platelets.
And sadly The Nate Foundation has reached a point where we have no resources left. Usually Eddie and I support these families with our personal resources but right now we have nothing.
I am not writing this as someone standing outside this crisis.
I am in it.
I am a mother in this fight too. I sit with Mai Tawanda. I sit with Mai Vanessa. We comfort each other because we understand a pain that is almost impossible to explain to someone who has never lived it.
And yet, we keep losing children.
Wayne.
Patrick.
And we are terrified of hearing another name. I feel helpless. I feel broken. But I cannot sit quietly. Because these children deserve a chance to live. They deserve to grow up. They deserve to go to school, to laugh, to dream, to become who they were meant to be. They deserve more than a hospital bed and a funeral. So I am asking you, please help us.
We urgently need assistance with blood, platelets and medical costs.
And ultimately, six children need lifesaving bone marrow transplants.
We cannot do this alone.
If you can donate, please donate. If you can help with blood or platelets, please help. If you are a company, organisation, philanthropist, medical professional or anyone with the ability to make a difference, please step forward. And if you cannot give financially, please share this message.
Share it widely. Send it to your WhatsApp groups. Tag people who can help. Get this message to anyone who might be able to save a life.
Because somewhere out there may be the person who can change the outcome for one of these children.
Six children.
Six families.
Six lives hanging in the balance.
And Mai Tawanda's question keeps echoing in these hospital corridors:
“WHO IS NEXT?”

Last month we took a picture at Doves where we had gone to support Mai Wayne after the loss of Wayne, we stood there 5 mothers, all with children who have Fanconi Anemia. Our hearts heavy......

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of September and for bringing me safely into a new month.
Lord, let September be a month of peace, blessings, breakthroughs, protection, favor, and new beginnings. Open the right doors, close the wrong ones, and guide my steps according to Your will.
Bless my family, protect us from every danger, strengthen our faith, and provide for every need. Turn our worries into testimonies and our prayers into answered blessings.
May Your grace go before us throughout September. Let no weapon formed against us prosper, and keep us under Your mighty protection.
“The LORD bless thee, and keep thee.” - Numbers 6:24
In Jesus’ mighty name,
Amen. 🙏❤️
Welcome, September. May God’s goodness and mercy follow you all month long.
Thirty years ago today, My wife and I chose each other.
Three decades later, we’ve shared laughter, tears, victories, disappointments, countless lessons, and more blessings than we deserve.
Through every season, she has remained my greatest supporter, my best friend, and my safe place.
People often ask what the secret to a lasting marriage is.
I don’t think it’s finding the perfect person because there is no such person anyway.
It’s choosing the same person every single day, especially on the days when it’s hardest.
To everyone who’s been married for 30 years, Happiest Anniversary to you too.

The apartheid government feared one man so much that it passed a law to keep him in prison after he had already served his sentence.
Not Nelson Mandela.

Here's why his story matters. 🧵👇
Residents of Sunningdale 2 are concerned after Harare City Council workers dug a hole at the corner of 1st Crescent and 1st Close and left it uncovered. Community members fear that if it is not properly secured or repaired, it could lead to another tragic accident.

Who is this Wicknell Chivayo?
I have sent a letter to @CyrilRamaphosa asking him to clarify his relationship with this corrupt crony capitalist who is a person of interest in South Africa.
My questions to Mr Ramaphosa.
1. What is the nature and context of your interaction with Mr Chivayo as depicted in the circulated footage?
2. When did this meeting take place, and was it an official engagement, a private
meeting, or a social encounter?
3. Are there any official records, declarations, or disclosures relating to this interaction?
4. How does this engagement align with prior public statements made by your office
regarding your knowledge or relationship with Mr Chivayo?
We have an immigration crisis in South Africa because of ZANU PF leadership in Zimbabwe and the FRELIMO leadership in Mozambique.
To deal with immigration challenges which cost South Africa billions in service delivery we must deal with the root causes. ZANU and FRELIMO.
We cannot in any way as South Africa associate with or assist Zanu PF to stay in power by illegitimate means. We cannot support term extensions and dictatorships.
It is time to cut all ties with ZANU PF and its dodgy businessmen.
Somebody tell me:
If a president from Zanzibar (distinct in culture) uses militia and security forces to target and kill solely people of Tanganyika - what is the exact definition? Thousands including children have been killed and we have the photo and video evidence!
The order included taking out male members of a household above the age of 15
Is this “post election” violence or massacre or genocide?
The person who ordered this should be called a butcher, no?

Good morning 5am club. When you see people accomplish things you didn’t think were possible, it should be an invitation to re-examine the limitations you’re imposing on yourself, not an opportunity to poke holes in the legitimacy of their breakthrough.🌷
