Antara fokus utama perbincangan adalah kerjasama dalam bidang tenaga hijau dan pembangunan mampan. TYT Pesuruhjaya Tinggi turut menyatakan komitmen untuk terus mempererat kerjasama Malaysia–UK dalam sektor ini ke arah masa depan yang lebih lestari.

Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, engaged in a dialogue with Southeast Asian students in the University of Warwick on their academic journeys and experiences in pursuing higher education overseas. Dr. Kao encouraged the students to work hard and utilise their opportunity to learn as much as they can and shared the importance of having passion and purpose in life. Dr. Kao also shared that there are growing interests from external partners of ASEAN on the work of ASEAN, among others.

All European members on the @UN Security Council condemn Israel’s expansion of military operations.

It will only further endanger the lives of civilians in Gaza and the hostages. It will worsen the already catastrophic humanitarian crisis.

We need a ceasefire now.

The IDF has killed starving Palestinian civilians trying to get aid.

Settler terrorism and talk of imposing the illegal E1 settlement plan are flagrant attempts to prevent a Palestinian state.

There is no justification for this. A two-state solution is the only path to peace.

We are deeply concerned by Israel’s strikes on sites in Iran and further Iranian action we’ve already seen in response.

The UK did not participate in this action. We have urged both Israel and Iran to show restraint and de-escalate.

Further escalation is in no-one’s interests.
