Hi, some of us legal practitioners have formed a group by the name, Advocates Against Anarchy. The inspiration for the group arises from the ancient wisdom of the Yajurved that reads as वयं राष्ट्रे जागृयाम पुरोहिताः. It means that we, the responsible members of society, are the shield of the nation. The recent violent protests/ riots at Jantar Mantar, Delhi, served us a stark reminder of this enduring duty to our country. Hence, the need for this group.
The group, Advocates Against Anarchy, is not just another group of legal professionals; it is a movement. We are bringing legal minds together to:
a. Stand as a fortress against vandalism, rioting, and civil unrest;
b. Leverage our collective legal acumen to ensure instigators of anarchy are held accountable;
c. Promote lawful and peaceful discourse over street-level disruptions; and
d. Serve the overall interest of society as, when and however, required.

Dear Shashi Tharoor ji, they say one is bound to make mistakes while making unnecessary claims and statements.
It’s not “Bydget” but BUDGET.
Also, not rely but “reply”!
Well, we understand!
At a time when the entire nation is marking the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, I am glad to share that his grand statue, made of granite, will be installed at India Gate. This would be a symbol of India’s indebtedness to him.
Received a call from @PMOIndia and spoke with PM Narendra Modi who expressed concern over the case. Truly humbled and honoured on receiving his call and his words that the case would be looked into. Proud to be an Indian and even prouder of the PMs personal intervention. Jai Hind
As a mark of respect to #GeneralBipinRawat, this young man holding tricolor in his hand has been running along funeral van from his residence till Brar Square where Gen. Rawat will be cremated. This love is what the departed soul earned as a General of #IndianArmy. @gauravcsawant
I am deeply anguished by the helicopter crash in Tamil Nadu in which we have lost Gen Bipin Rawat, his wife and other personnel of the Armed Forces. They served India with utmost diligence. My thoughts are with the bereaved families.
Gen Bipin Rawat was an outstanding soldier. A true patriot, he greatly contributed to modernising our armed forces and security apparatus. His insights and perspectives on strategic matters were exceptional. His passing away has saddened me deeply. Om Shanti.
Don’t know why but what Churchill said to Chamberlain comes to mind today: you were given the choice between war and dishonour; you chose dishonour, and you will have war.
