I invited five friends to dinner for my birthday and made one thing clear before we ordered: everyone would be paying their own share.

The dinner was great, and when the $600 check arrived, nobody seemed surprised.

Then one of my friends reached across the table and said to the server, “I’ve got it.”

Everyone thanked her.

She put the entire $600 on her credit card.

A few minutes later, she opened the calculator on her phone and started working out everyone’s share.

One of my friends looked at her and laughed.

Massachusetts octogenarian and Senator, Ed Markey, won the Democrat primary election.

Markey has been in Congress since 1976.

50 years.

He started in the House, but moved to the Senate in 2013.

Before being elected to the US House, he spent 3 years in the Massachusetts House of Representatives.

Markey graduated law school 1972 and entered politics the next year.

He had 1 year working in the private sector.

That's it. He has been leaching off the US tax payers for 53 years.

The US Congress.

A job where you can give yourself raises, months long vacations, free travel, and consistently fail to meet goals and never get fired.

The Hanson family, Peter, Sue Kim and their 2 1/2 year old daughter Christine, were on their way to California to visit Disneyland and Sue Kim's family who'd not yet gotten to meet little Christine.

They tragically changed their flight last minute from September 10th after Peter was called into a meeting.

Peter was in marketing and Sue Kim was a doctoral candidate in microbiology immunology at Boston University. Christine was their only child and loved Mickey Mouse.

Peter called his father Lee from Flight 175 (the second plane), informing him it was being hijacked and asking him to call the FBI.

In his second call Peter told his parents that the hijackers had boxcutters and had killed a stewardess. His parents were watching the nightmare unfolding on TV, the devastating of Flight 11 having already hit the North Tower.

Peter said he didn't know where they were but feared they were going to fly into a building. As recounted by his mother Eunice, he told his dad, "Don't worry, it'll be quick," before saying "oh my God, oh my God. Lee heard a crash. He hung up the phone and was never the same."

This is one of those stories that has been seared into my memory since the week of 9/11, the initial reports mentioned the Peter and Sue Kim keeping little Christine calm so she wouldn't be frightened despite knowing what was about to happen.

It was Christine's first plane ride and she's generally considered the youngest victim of 9/11. Dad and grandfather Lee Hanson passed away in 2018 at the age of 85.

The Hanson family were m*rdered by Muslim terrorists Marwan al-Shehhi, Fayez Banihammad, Mohand al-Shehri, Hamza al-Ghamdi and Ahmed al-Ghamdi.

Good news. AOC says she would probably not date a conservative because of her values. She also says having a child in Congress would be too expensive.

Her lecture on values is ridiculous. She promotes abortion up until birth and a socialism that has ruined the people it has ruled.

As for the baby she cannot afford: she has collected more than a million dollars in House pay, kept her student loans, wears expensive clothes, drives a nice car, and still talks like the paycheck is the problem. She should look in a mirror. The problem looking back is not the salary. It is her.

She is inhumane and fiscally reckless, with an overblown sense of her own worth. She has not authored a single meaningful bill. She has taken more than a million taxpayer dollars and spent it on an extravagant life while her debts sat there.

Honestly, the best thing for America would be if AOC remained single and without children.

Spain just released a man police caught in the act of r*ping a 22-year-old woman on Valencia’s Malvarrosa beach.

27-year-old illegal Moroccan construction worker. Dawn. He tore her dress off, covered her mouth, and r*ped her on the sand.

Four officers arrived while it was still happening. He ran. They caught him. He punched an officer in the face hard enough to send him to the hospital.

The victim gave a statement at the hospital.
Monday the judge let him walk because she hadn’t been located to “ratify” a formal complaint in court.

A heartbreaking clarification has emerged in the Matthew Mayich situation. 💔

After revealing that the 21-year-old St. Louis Blues prospect has “zero chance of recovery,” his family’s attorney, Robert Carey, has now clarified that describing Mayich as being in a coma is no longer accurate.

Carey explained:

“A coma indicates deep unconsciousness and recovery is possible. His body ceased functioning in a fundamental way, and this condition is irreversible.”

That makes the situation even more devastating than many first understood.

Mayich collapsed during an Arizona State hockey workout on Aug. 20 and has remained hospitalized ever since.

For now, the focus remains on Matthew, his family, and everyone close to him.

Absolutely heartbreaking.
