As I get older, I understand more and appreciate the saying “some things are better left unsaid.” Discretion is often better than sharing every passing thought.

The older I get, the more I realize intelligence is just knowing what to ignore. Texts. Calls. People. Food. Places. Unhealthy relationships. Living simply. And privately. Choosing depth over noise. That will do.
Your job is important but, so are your workouts, your lunch breaks, vacation days, hobbies, the people waiting for you when you get home.
Works pays for your life. It isn't supposed to replace it.
You need boredom. A lot of it. Start by going on walks without music. No stimulation. No distractions of any kind. If you learn to sit with your own thoughts, for long enough, in time they will start serving you. You'll start having ideas once again. You'll start developing an extreme sense of clarity that will shift you into the next stage of your life. All by being bored, which is pretty insane.
