गोंडवाना साम्राज्य की पराक्रमी महारानी, जिन्होंने मातृभूमि की रक्षा हेतु अदम्य साहस और वीरता का परिचय दिया।

कठिन परिस्थितियों में भी उन्होंने शौर्य, स्वाभिमान और नेतृत्व का अनुपम उदाहरण प्रस्तुत किया तथा विदेशी आक्रांताओं के समक्ष झुकने के बजाय वीरगति को वरण कर इतिहास में अमिट छाप छोड़ी।

उनका बलिदान राष्ट्रभक्ति, साहस और स्वाभिमान की प्रेरणा देता है। उनका जीवन एवं संघर्ष हम सभी के लिए सदैव प्रेरणास्रोत रहेगा।

At the G7 Summit in Evian, addressed the Outreach Session on ‘Reviving a Balanced, Shared and Sustainable Economic Growth for All.’ It is good that the French G7 Presidency has given importance to this topic.

The reality today is- when it comes to growth, the question should not be about GDP or trade numbers.

The real question is - Growth for whom, with whom and in what direction?

Pleased to meet President Trump in Evian. We reviewed the sustained progress in our bilateral cooperation in trade, energy, defence, technology and people-to-people ties.

Conveyed India’s appreciation on the progress in the efforts for restoring peace and stability in West Asia. Keeping the Strait of Hormuz open is vital for the global economy. Reiterated the importance of ensuring the safety and security of civilians, including seafarers.

J’ai eu une série de réunions et d’échanges productifs lors du Sommet du G7 à Évian. J’ai eu l’occasion de présenter les positions et les efforts de l’Inde sur des domaines clés de la gouvernance et de l’élaboration des politiques. J’ai également eu l’occasion de souligner la nécessité de travailler étroitement avec le Sud global en ce qui concerne la prospérité mondiale.

Je me rends maintenant à Paris pour la dernière étape de ma visite en France. Le programme à Paris comprend une intervention à VivaTech 2026 ainsi que des échanges avec la diaspora indienne lors d’un programme communautaire.

Deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Robert A. F. Thurman, an eminent scholar of Buddhism, a distinguished teacher and a lifelong friend of India. Through his works, he popularised Buddhist thoughts globally and also built enduring bridges of understanding between cultures. I fondly recall our meeting in New York City a few years ago, where we had an excellent conversation. My thoughts are with his family, friends and admirers in this hour of grief.

On stage, during the swearing-in ceremony of new Chief Minister of Bengal, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi sought the blessings of Makhanlal Sarkar, one of the BJP’s oldest and most respected workers in West Bengal.

At 98 years of age, Shri Makhanlal Sarkar remains deeply connected to the roots of the nationalist movement in post-Independence India. In 1952, he was arrested in Kashmir while accompanying Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee during the movement to hoist the Indian tricolour there.

After the BJP’s formation in 1980, Makhanlal Ji took charge as organisational coordinator for West Dinajpur, Jalpaiguri, and Darjeeling. From 1981 onward, he served continuously for seven years as district president — a remarkable contribution during the party’s formative years.
