Do not let Modi's propagandists turn a crisis of governance into a debate on manners.
The language young people use to express their anger and disappointment with the Modi govt is not the issue.
The real issue is the Modi govt's incompetence, arrogance and repeated failures, not the vocabulary of those suffering because of them.

“Give them bread and circuses, and they will never revolt.” – Poet Juvenal, Roman Empire, 100-130 AD
In its original adivasi tradition, Dhimsa dance is not performed for an audience. Not even for the tribal chief. Everyone participates.
People’s Power vs. Drama
Followed by 500 years of civil war, misgovernance, and economic turmoil, the ancient Roman Republic degenerated into an autocratic Empire. The people’s power was stripped away office by office, law by law.
In return, emperors gave the people two things: subsidized grains (the cura annonae) and spectacular entertainment in the form of chariot races, gladiator combat, and mock naval battles in large stadiums.
This loss of democratic power in exchange for “bread and circuses” was never stated explicitly. But every Roman understood: You no longer have a voice in how Rome is governed. But it is guaranteed that you will never be bored, and you will never starve to death.
Scarcity Cuts Mental Bandwidth
Constant mental load of financial scarcity reduces an individual’s cognitive bandwidth. Behavioural economists S. Mullainathan and Eldar Shafir found in their research that poverty cuts down the capacity for decision-making. This isn’t a character flaw.
Even the richest person, when forced to live with constant mental pressure of earning daily wages to feed his children, relying on uncertain rains for survival, escaping the generational debt trap, and battling disease and malnutrition, would have little energy left to critically examine the government's GDP growth claims or its socio-economic policies.
Individual vs. Crowd Psychology
Over a century ago, French sociologist Gustave Le Bon observed that people in a crowd who were fed the same speeches, images, and slogans day after day, year after year, will lose some of their individual ability of critical thinking, and will absorb the emotional temperature of the crowd. Mobs think differently from individuals.
The Mania of Hero-Worship
When life is already a constant struggle, people will willingly trade the mental burden of “free speech and logical thinking” for the instant drug-like escapist relief of surrendering independent judgment.
They will gladly bow down and drink water from the feet of a cultist, God-like figure who promises them a golden tomorrow. Deep down they know there is no tomorrow, but they don’t want to suffer the pain of reality. That would be suicidal.

"The first principle is that you must not fool yourself, and you are the easiest person to fool." - Prof. Richard Feynman, Nobel Prize in Physics (1965)
@CJP_for_India What did you do for this? People who were not accountable to do anything about it are doing already, helping in many ways, you can't say.. Ask Modi Ji, did you show up in Assam? Don't think, people will just question BJP's accountability, everyone will be questioned now.
Modiji @narendramodi, I had nothing against you. I admired you at a point of time. But your do kaudi ka paltu lapdogs who wanted to be in your good books, made me go against you. And my patience level has ended. Also there were some policies which i believed would have been rectified, if some PR agencies and money hounded people wouldn’t have come in between.
Par aaj ki date ke baad mai agar koi bhi post karungi, it’ll be against you Modiji, and it’ll be only because of your do kaudi ke kutte which your PR agencies and the BJP itself have hired, and the future PR agencies that are gonna come only to save BJP’s arse. These agencies did nothing, but ultimately made your hardcore supporters like me go against you.
Watch me now, I’ll do everything to malign BJP’s name, khulle aam bol rahi hun, jisko jo ukhaadna hai ukhaad lena.
And from now on, whatever posts I do against BJP, take this post as a reference for my future posts. This is for all the chappal chaatukaars and PR agencies people. Stop me if you can.
@DDNewslive@Parakram_Veer Kya Zamana tha yaar wo jab DD news ki bulletin sun ke actually accha lagta tha, pata tha ke "Bina Sansani" ke khabar deliver hogi.. magar dekho inhe.. Bichaare peer pressure me kya kya karna pad raha hai.. Kya pata DD News b kal ko Adani ji ka support maange.
@IndianGems_ Tell this to BJP and their GOONS.. UNKA DHAR'M KHATRE ME HAI... UNKE GUNDO KO BATAANA KE SATARK RAHEIN.. Hindu, Muslim, Sikhs, Christian and all the communities living proudly in India khatre me nahi for sure, magar inka dharm konsa hai pata nahi jo khatre me hai..
I would still urge young minds to boycott mainstream TV news channels & their shows.
They want to capitalise on current sentiments & hence they are giving space to students.
Once they regain even 10% of their lost ground, they will be back to basics- toxic shows & PR of a political party.
Mark my words!
Whoever doxxed that minor girl, whoever abused her, be prepared, BJP IT cell won’t be able to protect you.
Even your big accounts have deleted their posts but that won’t help now.
Neither are they safe, nor are you.
@SauravDassss But Saurav isn't that Employee Benefits? My cousin works in Etihad he gets free international flights for their family as well. This could be debatable, please focus on the FIRs, taking RSS goons down, Question the whole policing system, Assam's yearly floods, PMNRF?
@GulPanag Don't fall for the classic trick of obfuscating the issue by deflection, the real focus has to be the Home Minister who has been in charge of the Delhi Police and needs to be held accountable for the violence wreaked on students.
No one in his right mind will keep such an incompetent person as employee in his company, and fire him immediately.
But here we are, voting him as our prime minister not once but three times.
Enough. Throw him out !
