Congrats to Aiden and his HTown Hurricanes teammates on winning the 15–16U Boys 4x800m Relay Region 17 Championship and qualifying for the AAU Nationals. 15–16 and 17–18 divisions were combined into one race. They finished 2nd overall while taking 1st place in the 15–16U division

Aiden dropped down from the 800m this week and ran his second 400m of the season.

He took 1st place in the freshman boys division with a personal best 53.92 ⏱️

Hard work is paying off—he’s getting better every time out!

Drew Simon getting ready for the 12u 80m hurdles for AAU Regionals. This is only his 4th week hurdling and he finally got down to 3 steps between hurdles.

Aiden came up just a little short yesterday in the 800m at the AAU District qualifier. He needed to run a new PR to have a shot and he did exactly that—but still narrowly missed the mark. Top 16 advance. He’ll still be advancing to regionals as part of the 4x400 and 4x800 relays.

Aiden Simon finished 3rd in the 8th grade boys 800m at the Humble ISD Middle School District Track Championship. He set a new PR of 2:08.18.
