.@GovUganda has secured 53.6 million doses of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) vaccines to implement a two-phase nationwide vaccination campaign.

📌 Phase I: July–August 2026
📌 Phase II: January–February 2027

Vaccination is key to controlling FMD, protecting livestock, and expanding access to markets.

Only vaccinated animals will qualify for movement permits and participation in livestock trade. #OpenGovUg

After value addition, 1L of milk becomes 5 different products ie yoghurt, cheese,milk powder etc
