Stark County Sheriff: Raychel Sheridan was murdered in her Plain Twp apt. Her body was found this morning by Canton sanitation workers in SW Canton. Sheridan's boyfriend Sean Goe who fled deputies Tuesday was found in a Canton homeless shelter by Canton PD, held on $500K bond.

Plain Twp firefighters have put out a kitchen fire at apartment at 4212 Orchard Dale Dr. NW. No one hurt, according to Fire Chief Chuck Shalenberger. Firefighters are about to cut off power to building. Picture taken 8:53 pm.

Former Carrollton schools supt. David Quattrochi, who pleaded guilty to felony theft in office, sentenced this afternoon in Carroll Cty Common Pleas Ct to 30 days in jail, 18 months suspended sentence and to pay restitution of about $17K.

AT&T apparently has fixed the issue that prevented AT&T cellular customers from reaching non-emergency Stark County government phone numbers for at least 13 hours Monday. My calls to Stark commissioners, sheriff’s office just went through.

~20 vehicles are waiting on Hills and Dales Rd to get gas at Sheetz which has lowered gas price to $1.776/gallon for 7/4 promotion. I waited 20 minutes to get to gas pump at 6:38 pm only to see note saying regular unleaded is sold out. It feels like Black Friday.

Accident on Strip Ave NW by HOF Bridge shortly before 5:37 pm Sunday. Man who was driving GMC SUV with young boy said he, the boy and two young women in other car were not seriously hurt. Women taken to hospital to be treated for glass cuts.

North Canton Council met 6 p.m. tonight for its organizational meeting. Council member Matthew Stroia, At-Large, was re-elected council president. Council member Stephanie Werren, Ward 3, was re-elected council vice president. Council also approved its 2023 meeting schedule.

Run to You Racing said in an email to runners this afternoon that this May 6-7 will be the Canton Hall of Fame Marathon’s final weekend. Not clear the reason. Inaugural race, originally Pro Football Hall of Fame Marathon was in April 2014.

Wait to vote early at Stark Bd of Elections was ~22 min for those in line at 1:43 pm today. Legal deadline to get into line for in-person early voting was 2 pm. Some who arrived minutes later were upset not to be permitted to vote early. They can vote at polls 6:30am-7:30 pm Tues
