Today as we celebrate the International Youth Day, we recognize Koakaka youth who have their own 28, 566 coffee trees and have harvested 8,475 kg of coffee beans this season and all other initiatives like savings group and producing traditional handcrafts.

This is a group of youth called “Youth in Action” that works at karambi coffee washing station owned by Koakaka. Youth in Action is one of three youth groups that have 108 members.
These youth groups were established in 2018 by Koakaka Manager called Safari Bonaventure.

This region is blessed with the perfect climate to produce specialty coffee with high altitudes and rich volcanic soils.
