The District is approximately 40,000 acres or abt 63 square miles.
Our service area is bounded by the SRP South Canal to the North and the Gila River Indian Reservation to the South, the Roosevelt Main Canal to the East,the SRP Eastern & Consolidated Canals to the West.

RWCD celebrates 101 years of water planning and delivery to landowners and customers this year. Doing so at the least-possible cost and sustained focus on future generations.

As the area in the District urbanizes, many of our open delivery laterals move underground, based on our current capital budget and urbanization rates we expect the transition from above ground delivery to under ground RGCP pipe to be complete in the next 5-10 years.
