@exeyex@DPajak58308@TrumpTruthOnX No they would not! And it is represented in the elected European Parliament. No majority by far for Trump loving political parties. Not to mention the ass kicking Orban got in Hungary this year.
Majority hates Trump!
@LynnAppleby14@JFS0six@TRUMP_ARMY_ And your information comes from where? the Orange guy that makes a fool out of America?
Zelensky said multiple times he wants the war to stop. He said he would step down if this means peace.
This guy barely sees his wife and kids.
And he is actively fighting corruption.
@homeopathcarol1@Gabby_Hoffman You are so full of lies. They removed funding because Hungary did not want to support the rule of law and because Orban did not want to fight corruption.
@MalusDacus2@FeeHeath1975@Panchenko_X USA never gave money, only older weapons.
Europe gives funding for clear purposes, followed-ip locally.
Try harder
@LordOfFreedom2@Femovira@JoeyMannarino We are quite happy in EU just the way it is!
Healthcare is good. Food is good. Social security is good. Euro is good. If you d live here, maybe you’d understand
I've seen a lot of takes that Orbán's defeat means that he was never an authoritarian in the first place.
This is completely wrong — and, in fact, betrays a complete misunderstanding of both Hungarian politics and modern authoritarianism.
Here's why.
@_taylorhudak This is standard policy when you joined EU!
We all left our currencies and geuss what? We all got better!
Are you saying you like the position of Forint? Check the rates of your national bank. Check how easy it devaluates vs Euro.
@DharamvirS35018@AdamMoczar You are just a plan racist. I live in a city with 180 different nationalities is Belgium. We respect each other and there are no issues.
I have a place in Budapest as well. Its not as clean as you claim to be.
I don’t care about white or Christian. We are all humans, you racist!
@DharamvirS35018@AdamMoczar I live here. And you are just spreading lies. Raping kids is not just illegals, or people from other origins.
You answered besides the point. Where does EU force countries to take illegals?
Captain Szilveszter Pálinkás, Hungarian Army officer:
What causes me difficulty is understanding which side this government is choosing. It portrays Ukraine as an enemy, while in reality, in this military conflict, Ukraine is a victim, because Russia attacked Ukraine. This is common knowledge.
This raises concerns and questions: why are we weakening our role in NATO because of this position? And why are our relationships of trust deteriorating?
I have taken part in several NATO exercises since the start of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, where soldiers from other NATO member states directly asked us - Hungarian soldiers - whether we were on Russia’s side, because, judging by our messaging, that’s how it seemed. So tell us, they say, because we want to know.
It was very difficult to hear, because I truly do not understand why we would not want to belong to the strongest military alliance in the world. And why we cannot reach the same position. I do not see the real reason behind this.
@InchiostroM@PJCalcoen “Connard de Flamand?” En dan zeg jij dat Brugge vol nazi’s zit. Shame on you!
Een keeper met 2’ krampen in blessuretijd. Sheids laat terecht 2’ extra spelen.
Ze hadden misschien beter met 11 blijven staan in plaats va nu de calimero uit te hangen.
‼️ Hungarian independent media outlets have uncovered what amounts to an industrial scale political manipulation operation tied to Hungary’s ruling party, Fidesz. This is a coordinated system designed to manufacture public opinion on Facebook and suppress criticism through volume and timing.
At the center of the reporting is the Digital Democracy Development Agency, a company that plays a key technical role in Fidesz’s digital campaign infrastructure. Publicly, it operates behind a so called civic initiative called the Digital Civic Circles, presented as a grassroots, citizen driven movement. In reality, investigations show that the agency organizes political events branded as “anti war,” runs the associated websites, and processes user data. This gives overtly partisan campaign activity a civilian cover.
Behind the scenes, the operation is far larger and more aggressive. According to reporting published on January 30, 2026, the agency’s Budapest office employs more than one hundred people. Part of their work involves managing fake Facebook profiles and pages to artificially boost Fidesz’s online presence. Internal sources describe a small inner circle team that creates these profiles, buys or renames Facebook groups, and coordinates posting and commenting.
The scale is measurable. Investigations identified more than 120 fake pages and profiles producing nearly 3,000 posts by late January. Many of these posts are identical government talking points published at the same time by supposedly different users. Activity patterns follow office hours, with heavy weekday output and minimal weekend use, indicating centralized, paid work rather than genuine personal engagement.
The primary function of the network is not original content but comment flooding. These fake accounts are systematically deployed under posts by senior government figures and pro government media outlets to shape discussions and create the illusion of widespread public support. Evidence of paid, coordinated commenting has appeared under the official Government of Hungary Facebook page and under posts by Viktor Orbán, Balázs Orbán, János Lázár, Alexandra Szentkirályi, as well as under Mandiner articles and other loyalist platforms.
One concrete example shows how the system works in practice. During a January cold snap in Budapest, with temperatures dropping below -8 degrees Celsius, the government announced on Facebook that free firewood or coal would be provided in 2,300 settlements. Early comments were critical. People complained the help arrived too late, that the coal was unusable dust, the wood wet, and that transport often cost more than the aid itself. Others asked why only 2,300 settlements were included when Hungary has around 3,200.
Around mid morning, the tone of the comment section abruptly changed. Within less than an hour, more than 70 new comments appeared praising the government’s care and responsibility while attacking the opposition as complainers who only criticize online. Analysis by journalists found that more than one third of the comments under that post came from fake profiles linked to the same network operated by the agency’s employees. This was not spontaneous support. It was a timed intervention designed to drown out criticism.
A parallel investigation mapped a network of Facebook pages created in bulk over a few days, initially given placeholder names like Page 1 to 50 or Test and Control, later renamed once activated. Facebook’s own name change history exposed this process. These pages pushed government messaging into pro Fidesz groups and targeted comment sections linked to specific politicians. The writing style was uniform and mechanical, suggesting templated or assisted production rather than individual voices.
This behavior matches what major platforms define as coordinated inauthentic behavior. It is the deliberate use of fake accounts, centralized control, and synchronized activity to manipulate public debate and mislead users about what is popular or normal. The purpose is not to convince through argument, but to simulate consensus, exploit engagement algorithms, and intimidate critics by making dissent appear marginal or hostile.
In simple terms, this is propaganda laundering. Public money and party infrastructure are used to create a fake public, which is then deployed to legitimize government narratives. For audiences outside Hungary, the key point is this. In an EU member state, the ruling party is not just influencing media ownership, but actively fabricating social reality online to maintain power.
