Great panel on Scaling & Growth at this year's #EBSpreneurship Founders Bootcamp (https://t.co/6pAcRdTb6G). In-depth discussion on achieving exponential growth, unlocking pristine clarity, and avoiding linearity with contributions from Gerrit Stehle from Elephant & Castle Capital and Dennis Schmoltzi from the Emma – The Sleep Company. Thanks to the organizers for putting on such a professionally organized event especially Lukas Schuchardt and Adrian Rochert.
There seems to be a preponderance of evidence in the statistical data that things are turning from bad to worse to shit. Having said that, I live near New York City, and I just drove across the country to California and back. In every town I stopped in, all the restaurants are full. People are spending money like there's no tomorrow. Things are getting more and more expensive. Maybe people are spending money before it gets more expensive?
@elonmusk They probably threatened the little red man from the traffic lights for pedestrians because the light didn’t change and there was no traffic.
@QTRResearch I once had a wire questioned for over a week because the reference line said : “Toyota Platinum”. They wanted to know what that meant. Guess which bank that was.
@ttmygh Grant, just finished your last podcast w Ben Hunt. Two things: re-shoring is a strategic imperative, dollar be damned. When we understand this, everything becomes clearer. Ever since Covid, I don’t trust Ben’s judgement anymore.
Also, we always seem to forget technical progress. Deflation is the default mode for our societies. I just completed a marketing request for proposal in one night, that would have taken me a week and endless iterations with the team before AI. Also see The Price of Tomorrow by Jeff Booth on this point.
Hi Grant, always great podcasts. And while i agree and note that we are almost in a Brave New World already (with something like Soma for everyone) I thought this podcast lacked depth. For example Trumps arithmetic might not work, but look how he changed the narrative. And the opposite of success isn't failure, it's to do nothing. Trump shifted the entire conversation. And that's a start.
@wayneyap Quoting from the book "180 Degrees: Unlearn The Lies You've Been Taught To Believe" don't ever accept an invitation from a DC insider. You may wake up with something slipped into your drink and in a very uncompromising position. Trust is priceless.
