The Seahawks get their Super Bowl rings tonight.
G Grey Zabel said he's interested to see how heavy they are, having heard the rings are large.
"We’re going to have a ton of fun," he said. "Probably have a few brewskis ... and enjoy each other and then just move on." #brewskis
The Seahawks are indeed planning to hold a joint practice with the Titans ahead of their Aug. 23 preseason game in Nashville. Mike Macdonald said recently they were hoping to do so. The joint practice -- they're just doing one of them -- is expected to be Aug. 21.
Macdonald said last week there was a chance Tory Horton (shin) could take part to some extent in Seattle's minicamp. That won't happen. Macdonald said "it's still all positive" with Horton and that he should be on the field early in training camp if not for the start of it.
Zach Charbonnet, rehabbing his surgically-repaired ACL, did some running on the practice field yesterday. Macdonald does not like giving projected injury timelines, and he again chose his words carefully when asked if Charbonnet is on or ahead of schedule.
