While she was fighting for her life in the white neighborhoods of Chicago...

...I was traveling across the city from my black neighborhood to my white junior high school on public transportation…alone.

When she was “seeing talented Black relatives stuck in limited jobs because society didn’t give them chances”…

…I was watching 3 of my BLACK cousins become successful educators in the Philadelphia school system…

…and my BLACK aunt become the legendary Patti LaBelle.

When she was “being judged as an “angry Black woman” whenever she was "confident or outspoken”…

…I was being hailed a genius for those very same things.

Yet she went on to become First Lady of the United States…

…and I’m just some guy saying stuff on X who’s so glad he didn’t vote for her husband.

Someone reminded me of this investigation of "Feed the Children" I did at CBS in 2010.

It was rare for CBS to devote this much time to one story on the Evening News but they ended up doing so quite a bit for my investigations.

Stick with it thru the first half and see what we found when we visited the Haiti camp that Feed the Children claimed to be running after the earthquake.
