I got a late start; arriving at Needles lodge just before 9am today. Lodge locked up, gondola not moving. Thwarted my plans to have a casual breakfast up top. I learned why (wind hold) when I got back to the bottom. Lots of bummed out skiers. Yes, the climb was a bit windy.
