Ito ang iginiit ng Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) kasunod ng panawagan nila sa publiko na makiisa sa "Trillion Peso March" sa EDSA People Power Monument sa Linggo, September 21.

Kasabay nito, pinaalalahanan din ni Cardinal Pablo Virgilio David, ang pangulo ng CBCP, ang mga Pilipino na idaan sa tamang proseso ng batas at 1987 Constitution ang pagpapanagot sa mga korap na indibidwal.

"Huwag tayong sumagot ng karahasan o pananahimik. Sagutin natin ito pananampalataya, lakas ng loob, at pagkakaisa," saad niya sa pahayag ng CBCP.

Magkakasa ng dalawang magkahiwalay na kilos-protesta sa Metro Manila ang mga grupo mula sa iba’t ibang sektor ng bansa para gunitain ang deklarasyon ng Martial Law at kondenahin ang katiwalian kaugnay ng maanomalyang flood control projects.
