Last summer with Isak, everyone was on the same page with how they were going to remember him. Think opinions will differ with Bruno. Emotions are high at the moment, but for what it’s worth, here’s my opinion, and I do think this is quite a balanced view I won’t change…
Looking back in time, we’ll remember him as an amazing player who achieved some remarkable things in his four years playing for us. But not as the legendary captain it once looked like he’d become. Why? Great captains don’t hire super agents to drive the price of the deal down, and they definitely don’t agree contracts with other clubs before their current one has agreed a fee to sell them for.
99.9% of players (basically everyone apart from geordies) would probably do the same things as what he’s done, but what he’s been viewed as over these last few years is this player different to the rest - a player coming from abroad who adored the club. What he’s shown is he’s no different to them, which is okay, there’s no rule he should be. But anyone still falling for his great acting of loving the club as much as us, saying his legacy will still be what it would’ve been, despite him agreeing terms with another club before we received a bid, needs to give give their head a wobble.
And no, nobody’s saying a great legacy at #nufc is worth more than winning the Premier League. The point is simply that naturally, he won’t become one of the best legends in the club’s history which he could’ve become, and like I say I’m sure he’s willing to accept that and trade it. On his return, I’m sure not everyone will have the same reaction to him, which is understandable, everyone’s going to have a different opinion with this one.
Not according to Newcastle they aren’t. I’m not sure how many times they can deny it - and someone is pushing this - but I have literally got off the phone to senior source at #nufc who said “there is no situation with Bruno, there is nothing new, there are zero talks taking place at the moment…”🤷♂️

Rishi Sunak was absolutely spot on when it came to Starmer.
Labour vehemently denied the allegations and then fabricated the fictional “black hole” as a pretext to justify their actions, which they had explicitly stated they had no intention of undertaking.
Anyone fancying a protest tonight outside the Stadium Of Light. KLD & Steve Davidson have had an absolute mare replacing our fans who hold season tickets for the mags then redesigning our home end bar for blood money. 7pm anyone? Make sure to share
