I can’t plan or even see ahead, just try to get through that day.
I have a 2 year old & she shows me more compassion & love than anyone ever has & I’ve sobbed a lot in front of her.

@Theholisticpsyc I’m 37, I’ve put so much work into not being an emotionally explosive man, I try to step forward into everything with compassion.

But the last 3 years I’ve spiralled.

Diagnosed with ADHD at 30; also had bipolar disorder, GAD & MDD diagnoses thrown at me by doctors.

@Theholisticpsyc I had to get my medical records sent over from Ireland for immigration purposes. I’ve had 12 concussions, my first was at 3 years old.
I haven’t been able to afford health insurance in this country, been here for 10 years.
I got into a union and will have insurance in 2 months

@cisombudsman Hello, my driving license expired and I haven’t got a letter from USCIS explaining that I’ve gotten a 48 month extension. I filed my I-751 in August 2021.

When I’m feeling confident (not sad) Ill look them in the eyes in a way so they know I’m making them rephrase their hatefulness.

I had an extremely frustrating interaction with a CVS pharmacy assistant today. They couldn’t understand me saying my daughter’s name, they couldn’t understand me spelling my daughter’s name & they couldn’t understand me when I used the phonetic alphabet to spell her name. 🇺🇸

@phiinnaaa I always wanted a daughter, we got one last year, her name is Aoife. I’ve never wanted a boy, it absolutely terrifies me that even if my wife and I do everything right he could still be a horrible shit too women.
