WE DID IT! After 10 months of bargaining, organizing petitions, open bargaining sessions, and collective actions, the residents and fellows at @UIHealth have reached a tentative agreement on our FIRST CONTRACT!

While bargaining a first union contract, an employer is required to “keep the status quo.” Yet @UIHealth is denying the usual cost of living increases to their newly unionized residents while they bargain their first contract.
