@robertmclaws @unusual_whales These permission regulations and required consent is controlled by the OS, which would be Apple or Google. There is no getting around it. If you create an app that requires location services, you have to include that in your app manifest. There is no back door to location info.

If the app is collecting your location information on startup, you get an alert asking for permission. If an app is going to collect real time gps info, that's another consent box. You can opt out any time.
