Busy week on course despite us being Closed due to flooding. Team done a great job!! @CottinghamParks
✅8th Tee shrubs & trees pruned and thinned out
✅Old 1st tee hedge halved
✅Bushes removed around clubhouse ready for the works to begin!

@hesslegolfclub_ We’re using a hand mower up the road at Cottingham Parks to maintain definition. Set to 8mm, 90% of fways is just about dry enough for someone to walk around 👍

Micro-Core programme begins today! 5mm cores to a depth of 1.5inch. Cores collected and greens cut afterwards. The aim is to repeat this work monthly through the winter depending on ground conditions. @CottinghamParks

Final TopDressing applied and brushed in this morning, taking us up to 16 tonne of sand applied post renovations. Followed up by a little granular number from @terralift & @Aitkens_turf Greens still rolling well, very pleased!! @CottinghamParks @Paul_Aitkens @nj_wild

Greens Top Dressed to start Part 2 of Phase 2. 8 tonnes applied to 19 Greens and brushed in, more to be applied as and when needed. @CottinghamParks

Phase 2, Part 1 begins this morning. Scarification to -15mm followed by a verticut to -3mm. Temp Greens will be in play. @CottinghamParks
