Our Department of Biology at the University of Dayton is hiring for a lecturer specializing in Field Ecology to start this summer. See ad here: https://t.co/rRcX5PEBLF
Crazy ants are craving calcium! This awesome #scicomm graphic from MS student @StephKGunter in @Chelse_Prather lab highlights some main findings in my most recent paper!
A new invasive ant is eating its way into cities — including short-circuiting home electronics. Read what research by UD's @Ryan_Reihart tell us about the future of the tawny crazy ant. https://t.co/345TWXnrxq

We are hiring a full time, promotion eligible, lecturer in field ecology here @univofdayton.
Please help me spread the word!
It is a *new* position at an exciting time for UD and for the Environmental Biology major.

In infested areas, the tawny crazy ant covers the ground in MILLIONS. The ants can harm other insects, asphyxiate small livestock and even short-circuit electronics in homes 😬
Ph.D. student @Ryan_Reihart wrote about his research for @ConversationUS: https://t.co/XF0LjHGCcM
Just did my first outside Zoom class! The TA for the course @Ryan_Reihart and I showed how to use Seek and iNaturalist to ID stuff in the winter, which they have to do for lab this week on their own since we are remote. We had fun, and I hope the students got something out of it!
You say #crazyants have an intense calcium craving?!
Check out this piece I wrote in the @ConversationUS about our new paper in @ESAEcology showing that calcium may boost the abundance of #invasive tawny crazy ants!

Communicating scientific work with the public is so important. A graduate student in our lab, @Ryan_Reihart, wrote an article about his recent paper in @ConversationUS Check it out! https://t.co/qc51K7GAb9
