Dayton, Ohio is now ABOVE NORMAL for rainfall for the month so far. After starting the month with 3 WEEKS of no measurable precipitation, rainfall for the month is now 3.79 inches, 0.79 inches above normal.

We analyzed 19 years of flowering data from the Fushan @ForestGEO plot for 16 species. Our analysis revealed that the flowering times of 13 species were affected by temperature changes. Changing temperatures may impact flowering times, reshaping subtropical ecosystems.
@skunkcabbages We are interested in collecting acorns from ancient oaks, intentionally, to create a seedling pool for restoration. Landscape Matriarchs - ish. And, that has us thinking about all kinds of other things about those trees.
