BR Varsity ended regular season action with a 9-3 defeat of Stanhope. Big hitters were Pitts and Brooks with 3 each. Willis, McGhee, Elliott and Hays also added to the offense. Lumpkin and Elliott had good pitching performaces Final record of 21-10.

Wildcat Varsity had a big day @ Ft Payne with 8-1 & 11-0 wins. Brock.Elliott and JH Johnson were winning pitchers. Brett Pitts homered and Ryan Willis clubbed a Grand Slam. Cats poumded 25 hits on the day. Win streak is @ 8 games with a 12-5 record.

Huge Area wins tonite for BR Varsity against rival Opelika. Won game 1 by a score of 7-4 & took game two 6-1 to complete the sweep. Brett Pitts and Brock Elliott pitched well for the Cats. Ryan Willis had 3 hits. Wilson Hays was stellar behind the plate. YES!

Thanks to all who have reached out with concern for Cade since last nite. He was struck by a ball and fractured his orbital socket. We ll know more details Monday. Resting at home and watching opening day. 😀
