@ScottGillingham Mr. Mayor, massive respect for starting these discussions, but might I suggest 1,000 units in three years is much too slow? Especially as you point out we'll be needing 150,000 by the start of 2030. With this year almost done, that's 25,000 per year.
Winnipeg has a bold plan to modernize zoning rules and permitting processes, increase density near major transit routes, and build more than 15,000 new units to address our homelessness crisis and add more housing that's affordable for families and young people. 1/3
@clickystudies Seriously, I guess. I've done a lot of on and off over the years, but taking that into account just makes things too complicated, so... 😣
I think CreComm has ruined me for some books. Reading previews in the Lit. Fiction section on GoodReads and some of it is just obtuse. Everyone's a philosopher. Everyone's a poet. Use as many syllables as possible. Just write like human beings, please...
@nicbufflin Idk if these qualify, but...
Grapes taste medicore and the snap makes me think of actual flesh. Oranges that are only sweet and not tart belong in the garbage. Brussels sprouts aren't that bad. Hot dogs are overrated. And I still hate corn.
