I got a job, y'all! Starting 3/18, I will be "Folklife Specialist" @mdartscouncil --in translation, folklife archivist and media curator for my home state!
I'm so excited!!!
I’d give anything right now to be an indolent old frog in a sun-kissed garden, snazzily dressed in a homburg hat and patent leather shoes, seated under a mushroom umbrella eating grapefruits and cheeses and chocolates and croissants out of a wicker picnic basket.
I'm pleased to share some bureaucratic activism: the Indigenous Research Agreement template. Super boring title for a contract that gives Indigenous groups the right to own, control, access & possess their data in research at @MemorialU . 1/8

My skin has become SO scaly from the time spent in the garden that I've begun to wonder if one of my English ancestors had a dalliance with a dragon...
20 years later, I finally find a use for those math word problems I (we?) hated:
If I have 130 radish seeds that need to be planted 2 inches apart, and I have 16 ft and 18 ft garden beds, do I plant them by the apple tree or the blueberries?
(Answer: by the apple tree 😊)
