@NotAProjectCFC Two months left of the window, a ball not kicked under the new manager yet. He’s saying wait and see - that doesn’t mean the owners & SDs are immune from criticism, or last four years forgotten, but reactionary posts to every single decision the Club makes is counterproductive.
@willreyner@siphillipssport I’m sorry, but for all their faults, there’s no way Xabi isn’t aware of their valuation and walk away point. I think talk of a ‘tug of war’ is rubbish.
@GoldbergCFC I think ‘tug of war’ is hyperbole. There’s no way Xabi wouldn’t be aware of the Club’s valuation and their walk away point. He might strongly want him, but talk of a rift is likely be overblown imo.
@siphillipssport Would you say ‘tug of war’ though? I think it’s hyperbole, as I’m sure they would’ve had discussions about their walk away point before launching a bid, and set out expectations.
@NotAProjectCFC I support you, and believe serious criticism of the owners and SDs is warranted and needed. But nuance please.
Signings point to shift in direction, and clearly Xabi has more control and influence. Plus it's true Maresca was a snake, and the Club have made serious mistakes.
@SS____899 You’re not giving enough attention to the versatility of the signings we’re making.
This discounts Xabi’s demonstrated desire to be pragmatic and switch depending on opponent, in game etc.
@JohyanCruyff I partly agree. It shouldn’t distract from the failures of the SDs and owners, but I think he would've left anyway. The opportunity to succeed Pep and return to a club he knows well isn’t one that comes around often. Resigning halfway through the season is also really poor form.
@Texas_jeep__guy I'm British and have never seen this sandwich in my life. Also, your nation invented jell-o salad, spray on cheese, chicken with waffles and syrup (after the chicken has been washing in chlorinated chemicals, that is!)
I get we have some weird foods, but pot kettle black😉
@2018LeBronJames@NiiNiiFC Again though, how legit are the sources in Spain? Strongest and most reliable source so far is BBC (and not just a 'He's staying', but detailed and emphatic).
Let's see, but I don't think there's any reason to panic (yet!)

Not only is Joao Pedro considered not for sale, he is also understood to be happy at Chelsea – even if he is not satisfied with the club’s current league position.
He grew up watching the Premier League, which is why he chose Watford, and when he says it is a dream to play for Chelsea, he means it.
Barcelona may admire him but are aware he is not a viable target and have other strikers in mind.
