@FoxCahn@BusinessInsider Buyers relocating not knowing the market, not knowing how to look at comps and determine value. Knowing what all home inspections to get and what to look for. Foundation issues, termite, mold issues. Navigating 133 page inspection reports and negotiations. Just to name a few
@FoxCahn@BusinessInsider People who do that will find out very quickly that it’s a bad idea and will in many cases cost you much more than hiring an agent. Maybe don’t write articles lumping an entire industry together that you clearly don’t know about? Maybe get a journal or a diary?
@FoxCahn@BusinessInsider So misinformed. Sellers will still be able to offer compensation to buyer agents it just won’t be listed in the MLS. This is why it’s important to interview and pick the right agent. Buyers will get completely taken advantage of without representation
@ScottBoehme Oh oh I see what you’re saying. Yeah I see this really impacting buyers and especially first time home buyers who can barely afford to pay their down payment let alone for their own buyer agent fee. Then the sellers agent will likely be in control and take advantage of the buyer
