Can’t stress enough how important this is.

OK, who else noticed that every single headline on today's WaPo Saturday letters page is an Emily Dickinson quote? Nicely done, editors.

We believe users should have the choice over the data that is being collected about them and how it’s used. Facebook can continue to track users across apps and websites as before, App Tracking Transparency in iOS 14 will just require that they ask for your permission first.

I see that Samsung finally remembered that it forgot about the June security update for the Z Flip in SG.

[Ng Chong Seng @ryanchucks]

This is most likely real.

With bigger iPhones coming — along with bigger batteries — this will enable Apple to maintain the same ‘up to 50% charge in 35 min’ for the biggest iPhone 12.

Apple is said to be shipping a new 20W charger for the iPhone 12. https://t.co/Nvs1R0FCn5

One could argue that 18-month-old data are too outdated to be useful anyway — but this is still a good move.

I wonder if iOS 14 beta is stable because Apple has been working on the new features for a while now.

Like, the new Home screen was originally planned for iOS 13, no?

[Ng Chong Seng @ryanchucks]

Fixed in latest update, btw.

Galaxy Wearable / Buds+ app repeated crashes without storage access is update I didn’t ask for.

Can’t say I’m surprised by this Samsung x BTS collab.

[Ng Chong Seng @ryanchucks]

@mweinbach @frittyyyy That’s the BTS logo. A new collab is coming. Let us know if you know if that’s gonna be a limited edition S20 or Z Flip or something else.

So. Looks like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Thom Browne Edition is also coming to India. Price unknown.

In other news, this limited edition launches in Singapore Jun 13. Free Z Flip screen protector service coming, too. https://t.co/zaVKMDxSrF

[Ng Chong Seng @ryanchucks]

Useless fact: Galaxy Z Flip official leather case put-on instructions different from Thom Browne edition’s. Deliberate or oversight, idk.

Darn, my MacStories Pixel email went to junk folder, which means my promo code for the color icon set has expired. 🤬 @MacStoriesNet

APA welcomes singular “they” ~

"Writers should use singular “they”: (a) when referring to a generic person whose gender is unknown or irrelevant to the context and (b) when referring to a specific, known person who uses “they” as their pronoun."

May be stating the obvious for AirPods Pro, but for one-pod use:

- ANC doesn’t work; needs both pods (makes sense).
- Off (passive NC) better than Transparency.
