So I went to the Meow Wolf in Houston (the last one I haven’t been to yet). It might be my favorite, at least aesthetically. I haven’t poured through all the story details to see if it tops Omega Mart in terms of narrative.
As kid’s we crowded around Floppy’s van, asking if he could see him. They told us he was sleeping, which even as a kid I thought was kind of lame.
Got to finally see Floppy this weekend at the Ankeny Historical Society. They also has some of Duane’s original Floppy comics.
Floppy was a children’s television phenomenon for generations. He and his handler Duane Ellet often visited small towns during their seasonal festivals, including my hometown’s Corn Days.
People keep talking like the younger generations are going to be worse, but my generation has Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk. It's going to take a lot of work to get worse than that.
